We are currently seeking a full-time Project Architect – Transit, with a desire to grow in the area of rail and public transit architecture, planning, design and construction. The ideal candidate shares the firm’s commitment to design excellence, innovation, community, and sustainability.

Qualifications.
  • 6-12 years of experience

Project Architect/Construction Administrator

We are currently seeking a full-time Architectural Designer to join our team who shares our firm’s commitment to design excellence, innovation, community, and sustainability.

Responsibilities.
  • Project team leadership / client interface
  • Lead the day-to-day management of construction process on one or more projects
  • Attend construction meetings and perform on-site observations of the progress and quality of work being performed
  • Field reports, review of submittals and shop drawings, review of application for payments, responding to RFI’s, coordination with consultants, attending progress meeting, preparing punch lists
  • Provide problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Perform QAQC and constructability reviews
  • Involvement with firm-wide initiatives
  • Dedication to the advancement of emerging professionals through ongoing mentoring
Qualifications.
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Architectural licensure
  • Familiarity with MGL 149/149A construction delivery methods
  • Passion for overseeing the building process and working closely with the contractor
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
    • Extensive knowledge of construction with in-field experience on complex projects
    • Client relationships
    • Coordination with consultants
    • Communication & organizational skills

    • Ability to understand trade documents and knowledge of construction terminology
