UConn Gampel Pavilion
Dome Repairs

Fennick McCredie led improvements to the University of Connecticut’s iconic Gampel Pavilion, home of the University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.  The work entailed replacing the interior face of the triangular ceiling panels as well as providing new gaskets, battens, hub covers, and sealant to the dome exterior roof panels.

A total of 2,100 panels were removed and repaired. Other improvements to the Pavilion included reconfiguration of the catwalk support cables, and additional conduit for future AV infrastructure.

The project was phased for completion in time for the opening game of the 2017-2018 basketball season.
