New Associates
Diedrich Harms AIA CPHC
Before joining FM, Diedrich spent several years designing and traveling at sea as a commander in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps. Now on land, Diedrich is a Phius-certified architect currently leading transit and aviation projects from planning and design through construction. Diedrich is a member of FM’s Sustainability and Toolbox committees.
Fen Chen AIA LEED AP BD+C CPHC
Fen is a LEED and Phius certified project architect with a research background in environmental strategies including self-sufficiency, resiliency, and sustainability. While at FM Fen has been a leader on aviation, transit, recreational, and municipal projects and is a member of the firm’s Sustainability committee.
Jessica Bell Marketing Director
Jess is the marketing director at FM, responsible for driving the firm’s business development strategy, leading proposal writing, and overseeing FM’s marketing efforts. Coming from a social sciences background, Jess is especially interested in post-occupancy evaluation and the human factors that influence design.
Leo Parker AIA LEED GA
Leo is a versatile senior architect at FM who brings detailed analysis to all project phases. Leo has led a wide range of projects that include transportation and developer-led projects, municipal projects, as well as institutional and industrial facilities. Leo contributes to FM’s Design Forum and Graphics Standards committees.
Mia Zhang IIDA LEED GA
Mia is a LEED certified interior designer with experience in interior architecture, FF&E selection and rendering. While at FM, Mia has been involved in community center, higher-ed, transportation facilities, and workplace interior fit-outs – her extensive materials knowledge has made her an invaluable member of the studio’s Resource Committee where she co-leads the Interiors group.
Paola Munoz Visual Designer
FM’s vibrant brand identity can be attributed to Paola’s bold and well defined vision which she steadfastly applies to all of the studio’s touchpoints – from document templates, to the studio’s digital channels and the environmental graphics that visually tie our projects to their contexts. Paola also lends her visual talents and time to FM’s Universal Design and Interiors committees.
Stafford Turnage Director of Finance
Stafford is FM’s director of finance, responsible for leading corporate accounting and finance as well as project operations and administration. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Stafford keeps FM cool under pressure and is always keen to provide financial analysis and reporting from any angle.
Tricia Brinson Office Manager
Tricia is the office manager at FM whose thoughtful and comprehensive approach provides the structure that our creative madness needs to thrive. Tricia leads internal operations, oversees studio support and manages personnel functions. Drawing from her extensive building industry experience, Tricia provides office support at all project phases and aligns people-focused strategies with FM’s broader goals.

Meghan Burke AIA IIDA NCDIQ
Meghan is a dynamic project architect who provides leadership on some of FM’s most high-profile projects, with particular specialization in institutional and recreational projects, as well as workplace fit-outs. Meghan is a member of the International Interior Design Association as well as a certified Interior Designer. Meghan advances the FM’s BIM knowledge and skill set through the BIM Management Group and co-leads the Interiors Resource committee.
