Ground Breaking at Dover Community Center

After a special Town Election where the residents voted to approve the renovation/addition of the Dover Community Center, we have officially broken ground on the long-awaited Community Center.

The Dover Community Center will be a renovation and addition project spanning 20,000 square feet. The initial focus will involve renovating the original 1910 Caryl Elementary School building to accommodate the Council on Aging and flexible activity spaces. Furthermore, an additional pavilion will be constructed to the east, featuring a kitchen, café, and community room. A small recreation court measuring 3,600 square feet will also be added to the south. A central gathering area will be created through the lobby/welcome area, connecting these various functions together.
