Women’s History Month: Anna Mezheritskaya

For Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight Anna Mezheritskaya and her volunteer work with the BAC’s Gateway Office and the CLF Northeast Boston chapter. For her, teaching is personally rewarding — a meaningful way to give back to both the BAC and the communities it serves. She values the hands-on nature of the work and the opportunity to apply design, fabrication, and construction skills in a setting that differs from typical practice, while often learning new ones along the way.

Through her work with the Carbon Leadership Forum’s Northeast Boston chapter, she also helps advance broader industry change by co-chairing the Education Working Group, focused on sharing knowledge around reducing embodied carbon in buildings. Her involvement includes planning events, collaborating with related industry groups, and helping launch the Embodied Carbon Case Study Report for the region — all in support of more sustainable practices and the stewardship of environmental and human health.
