For Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight Katherine Brekka and her involvement with organizations advancing sustainability and knowledge-sharing across the built environment. Through the Carbon Leadership Forum’s Boston Reuse Working Group, she has contributed to conversations around material reuse and waste reduction, including sharing strategies from FM’s 1033 Mass Ave. Harvard Renovation project. She has also participated in the Embodied Carbon Summit and annual summer networking events, helping build connections and momentum around lower-carbon design practices.
