As we wrap up Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight Melissa Vaillancourt and her service as a Trustee for the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School. As part of the Board of Trustees, she helps uphold the school’s mission, support its long-term strategic planning, and contribute to its overall financial and organizational health. In her role as Facilities Committee Chair, she has helped set annual committee goals and mission-focused priorities, while overseeing an ad hoc committee of caregivers and staff. As Chair, she has also explored initiatives related to space utilization, renewable energy opportunities, and field improvements — including securing funding approval to engage Arrowstreet for the design of interior space modifications slated for construction this summer.
