Congratulations to the VHB-HNTB Joint Venture for taking home a gold medal at the 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards from American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC MA) for the MBTA South Coast Rail Expansion!

FM designed six new stations as part of this impactful and historic project which restored 52 miles of commuter rail service between Boston and the South Coast Region. It was a pleasure to work on this exceptional team in collaboration with MassDOT and the MBTA to make this long awaited project a reality.
