Women’s History Month: Deborah Fennick

For Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight Deborah Fennick and her long-standing service as a City Urban Design Commissioner. Appointed by the mayor more than 20 years ago, she has remained continuously involved in shaping thoughtful, citywide design conversations and contributing to the review of important urban initiatives. Her work has included efforts tied to citywide design, the Assembly Row master plan, and urban design review, as well as participation on the committee for the new form-based zoning code. Through related ABX seminars and publishing opportunities, she has also helped extend these conversations to a broader professional audience, supporting continued dialogue around the future of our built environment.
