MCCA Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center
Upgrades
FM has been performing ongoing architectural services for the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC) for the past 6 years. Our efforts include a new canopy walkway along World Trade Center Avenue, as well as a glass and granite enclosed passageway connecting the MCEC to the new Seaport Omni Hotel, the Silver Line and points north.
Interior renovation projects are focused on improving the guest experience and enhancing a sense of the MCEC as a hospitality destination. These projects include designing a new café, and a self-check out store. Interior projects also include custom design of new carpeting throughout the facility’s pre-function spaces. Our team has been praised for listening carefully and designing creative spaces that achieve the Authority’s aspirations for updated, modern, inviting meeting spaces.
